 The Sky Lakes Medical Center Foundation needs your support to ensure we can continue our efforts. Here are a few ways YOU can make a difference:

The Cancer Fund

With input and support from the Cancer Advisory Committee, this fund provides financial support for patients, purchases supplies and equipment at the Cancer Treatment Center, and pays for materials for support groups. Money in this fund comes from the realized gain from the Cancer Endowment Fund

CARES Fund

Make it possible for CARES to evaluate and assist endangered children and youth. CARES is where Intervention, Prevention and Healing can begin for young victims and their families. The designated Child Advocacy Center for Klamath and Lake Counties in southern Oregon, CARES also serves Modoc and Siskiyou Counties in northern California, providing objective evaluations for over 350 children suspected of being abused each year.

Patient Assistance Fund

Used to provide assistance for patients. Assistance can be to help purchase clothing, gasoline, food, rent or other needs identified by Sky Lakes staff.

Maternal Child Health Fund

Purchases car seats for new families, provides comfort and support materials for families that experience the loss of a baby, and assists with the purchase of equipment for the Family Birth Center.

Wellness Program Fund

Some Wellness Center participants are unable to afford our Weight Management Program, despite meeting qualifications to join. By making a tax-deductible donation to the Wellness Program, you can change lives. We have witnessed firsthand how weight loss empowers participants, changes their perspective on life, how they feel minute to minute, and helps them realize their very best selves.

Employee Help Fund

 The Sky Lakes Employee Help Fund was created to support employees facing unexpected challenges. We Rely on donations from compassionate employees to sustain the fund. Covered expenses may include rent, utilities, vehicle repairs, dental, childcare, funeral expenses and other emergent needs. 

Light the Park Fund

The Light the Park Fund provides festive, high-quality lighting for Eulalona Park during the holiday season. Funds are used to purchase new light displays and maintain existing installations. This project relies on generous donations and volunteer labor, with ongoing expenses to replace fixtures and to expand displays in the park.
